[SOLVED] - Dev Key is not working anymore

Hey guys,
How are you handling the authentication in local development?
I was using the Dev Key to allow me to authenticate from subdomains, but it seems like that feature was removed

Now, I'm getting this error:

POST https://nyc.cloud.appwrite.io/v1/account/sessions/email net::ERR_FAILED
login:1 Access to fetch at 'https://nyc.cloud.appwrite.io/v1/account/sessions/email' from origin 'http://localhost:3000' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field x-appwrite-dev-key is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.

Do you know if that key was replaced or is there another approach that allow us to login from subdomains locally?

Dev keys are removed from Appwrite 2.3 if I remember correctly.

How can I locally authenticate from subdomains without being blocked by CORS then?
The Dev Keys usage wsa the only way I could do it

Dev Keys have been removed and there isn't a replacement for them.

For local development, you should remove "setDevKey()" / the "X-Appwrite-Dev-Key" header and add your local hostname as a Web platform in your Appwrite project instead.

For example, if you're running the app on "http://localhost:3000", add a Web platform with "localhost" as the hostname. The port doesn't need to be part of the hostname.

If you're using custom local subdomains, you'll need to add the hostname(s) you're developing from as allowed Web platforms/domains as well.

Though I'm neither staff nor expert in this, so just take as simple advice

For resolving CORS problem, adding a web platform with your hostname should resolve the problem

That approach really solves the subdomain issue.

When defining the web platform now is possible to define localhost and also define the subdomains using *.localhost so it completely solved what I solved using the Dev Key in the beggining
