Who qualifies_
The Startups program is for product teams at an early stage of growth. Apply if your company meets the criteria below.
Product-focused startup
You are building a software product or platform. The program is not open to agencies, consultancies, or resellers.
Early-stage company
Your company is 5 years old or younger and is pre-seed or VC-backed up to Series A. Bootstrapped companies with up to $5M in annual recurring revenue are also eligible.
Building on Appwrite Cloud
You are starting a new project on Appwrite or migrating from another backend provider.
Outside the program
The Startups program is reserved for early-stage product companies. These profiles are usually not accepted.
Beyond early stage
Companies older than 5 years, unless bootstrapped with up to $5M in annual recurring revenue.
Later-stage funding
VC-backed companies that have raised beyond Series A.
Bootstrapped above $5M ARR
Bootstrapped companies with more than $5M in annual recurring revenue.
Agencies and consultancies
Businesses primarily offering services rather than building their own software product.
If your company is close to these criteria, you may still submit an application. Our team will review each request individually.
