When testing 2.1.0 here is what i found
Bugs
- In the console account page, clicking the applications shows a 404 error (i think it's something cloud only, that we shouldn't see in SH)
- In the tablesDB settings, there is a specifications tab talking about cloud stuff, not sure if it's supposed to be here
- ✅ not new, mails policies are not working in self-hosted (throwing 404 html)
- The S3 API for buckets is not visible in the UI (in the Connect popup)
Others infos
- In 2.1.0 VectorsDB/DocumentsDB are not visible in the UI, it is intended and will be released in a later version once it's more stable. So i would recommend disabling embedding as well to free up some resources while thoses DBs are disabled.
- In Self-Hosted, the Native databases makes no sense, it's better for you to deploy a dedicated mariadb/postgresql container, and connect your app with that. As native database on cloud provide just a MariaDB/PostgreSQL managed connection
- Firewall feature is cloud-only, they rely on a closed source provider, and since there is no alternative for that feature, it's not available in SH
